History

Colourprep was founded in 1990 as a print broker firm producing catalogs and political voter contact mail. In 1980, after relocating from New York City, Jorge managed the pre-press department at Johnston Printing Co., a medium sized sheet-fed printer in Dallas, TX. In 1985 Jorge went on to manage G.L. Printing, Inc., a print broker firm also in Dallas until 1990. continued

With expertise in pre-press technology and print production, from design to mail box, Jorge has partnered with clients to produce high quality printing projects that are uniquely challenging.

Services

Colourprep’s founder, Jorge Ruiz, is a detail oriented problem solver who has acquired vast expertise in many areas of print, web, marketing, and graphic design. Colourprep offers a wide range of creative and production services from graphic design through printing & mailing to large and small businesses, and organizations. Personnel

Jorge Ruiz is the owner/president of Colourprep. A native of Ecuador, South America, he emigrated with his family as a boy to New York City. Jorge has been in the printing industry since graduating with honors from the New York School of Printing in 1978. His area of expertise was layout & design and pre-press technology. continued
